Standard Component Aluminum Picket Deck Railings
Deck Images ™ standard welded picket railing systems come with standard surface mount 1-5/8" square posts with 4" x 4" base plates. All of our posts are made from high grade extruded aluminum and feature the strongest base plate attachment in the industry. Surface mount posts are typically attached with #14 x 3" stainless steel screws that are provided with your system. Stainless steel screws will not rust and the heads have been painted to match the rest of the system to provide an attractive and finished look.

Fascia Mount Aluminum Deck Railings
Deck Images ™ also offers fascia mount posts that attach to the front (or fascia) of the deck as opposed to the top of the deck. Fascia mount posts would typically be used on a water proof deck when there is a concern of penetrating a rubber membrane. Another advantage of fascia mount posts, unlike surface mount posts, is that they do not take away from any of your deck surface. Fascia mount posts can be made with or without an offset to accommodate your specific application.
